Digging into Plant Based Eating: Part 2 – Virtual

This session will be a demonstration style workshop, highlighting some meal and snack examples from our teaching kitchen. Menu selection will be based on suggestions from part 1 to ensure we cook up what is right for you! Are you looking to connect with other caregivers? This support group meets the first and third Friday of every month and provides information, support, and follow-up for active caregivers. Designed for community members age 55+, who are wishing to improve their balance and range of motion regardless of their current ability level. The program will be led by trained volunteers, who ensure the program is run in a safe manner. Classes can be done seated or standing. Restorative yoga focuses on relaxation of the mind and body. Bolsters, straps and other props will be used to support the body in various postures which allows one to move towards a state of balance.
