Primary Care

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT a Walk In Clinic. You must be a primary care client to receive primary care at our Centre.

How to Become a Client

To become a primary care client, you will need to register with Health Care Connect by calling, toll free, 811. You can also register online:

Health Care Connect

You will hear from us as soon as we are able to place you with a health care provider. Our goal is to provide you with the best medical care and range of supports to promote illness prevention and good health.

Who We Serve

The Community Health Centres of Northumberland serves all residents within Northumberland County and surrounding area. Special consideration is given to the elderly with chronic conditions, youth at risk, those struggling with mental health issues or addictions and those living on a fixed or limited income without a local physician.

Programs & Workshops

Community outreach programs and workshops, including diabetes education and support, nutrition education, health education and lifestyle programs, are open to everyone and not limited to those registered as clients of the centre.
