Our Community Registered Dietitian, is available to members of the community & provides one-on-one counselling, presentations/workshops & cooking demonstrations. To learn more about cooking workshops click here.
Dietitians provide clients with strategies to help manage & prevent a wide range of nutritional related concerns such as heart health, food intolerances/allergies, digestive problems, weight management, osteoporosis & food preparation skills.

Those adults with Type 2 Diabetes or who are at risk of developing diabetes can self-refer to the Diabetes Education team. The Diabetes Education team consists of Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses who are specialized in Diabetes Education.
How to Access Nutritional Counselling Service
Clients of the CHC may be referred by their primary health care provider. For community members who are not clients of the CHC, please ask your family doctor for a referral to set up an appointment or you can call 905-885-2626 to inquire about services available.
