About Our Gendering Affirming Care Program
The Gender Care program is designed to support transgender and gender diverse people in Northumberland County. The care we provide is comprehensive and responsive, working from an informed consent model to support people navigating the many complexities of gender transition and of living as a gender diverse person.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of a Physician, a Nurse Practitioner, a Mental Health Registered Nurse, an RPN, a Social Worker and a Peer Support Worker. Together, our staff work to address the needs of the transgender and gender diverse population of the County with gender responsive care, including peer counseling and support groups.
