A Yin Yang Yoga class blends two styles of yoga in one practice. It brings together the benefits of longer stretch poses with traditional hatha sequences to work on strength, flexibility and stamina. By balancing your Yin and Yang your energy flow will increase, giving you a peaceful balanced mind and body. Come out and join our trained Nordic Pole Walking Instructors as they take you on a 30-45 minute walk around the neighbourhood. Participants will be shown how to properly use the poles and will be taken through a series of warm-ups before starting the walk. Please bring your own poles if you have them, we have a few poles that can be borrowed for the duration of the program and will be sanitized before and after each class. Whether you have never planted a seed or you consider yourself a master veggie gardener, come join Adam in the CHC Sharing Garden to help prepare this year’s growing season. Over the course of a number of dates, we will clean up from winter, prepare and amend the soil with our homegrown compost, start sowing spring crops and finally, transplanting our veggie starters! This group is meant for anyone looking to get their hands dirty, learn a few things around the garden, share some knowledge, and most importantly, work and have fun together!
