Help Make “Change” Happen at CHCN—Donate Your Old Coins & Bills Today!
- Do you have foreign coins, bills or currency collecting dust in a drawer, box or cupboard?
- Have you ever wondered what to do with those leftover coins from your travels?
- Do you have an old coin collection that’s no longer being used?
- Or perhaps you still have a jar full of Canadian pennies tucked away at home?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, CHCN can help, and you can help CHCN! Instead of letting unused travel currency collect dust, you can donate it to help support local healthcare programs and services across Northumberland.
We Are Collecting:
- Foreign coins
- Foreign paper currency
- Canadian coins and bills
- Old or out-of-circulation currency
- Coin collections
- Pennies (yes – we’ll take those too!)
Drop-Off Locations:
In -Person
Simply drop off your currency at one of our community collection locations between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm:

If you’re unable to visit a collection site, paper currency may also be mailed to our Toronto Road office:

(For security reasons, we recommend that coins be dropped off in person rather than mailed.)
We are working with Global Coin Solutions who will process the currency, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to CHCN to help fund our programs and services. Every coin, every bill, and every donation helps make a difference. Together, we can turn leftover travel money and forgotten change into better healthcare close to home.
