Community Dietitian Talk – Get Crackin’ In the Kitchen

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy

Diabetes – Just the Basics

Have you been recently diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes? This workshop, now being done virtually over Zoom, includes a discussion of the basic facts about managing diabetes, healthy eating, and physical activity. The program will be led by trained volunteers, who ensure the program is run in a safe manner. Classes can be done seated or standing. Plants to Plates – Virtual

This virtual summer program is offered to ages 7 to 10. Plants to Plates is a food education program for children which was developed by the Ecology Action Centre. This program takes a “Plants to Plates” approach, pairing kitchen skill building with garden activities and making connections between how food is grown and how to prepare nutritious, tasty meals. Each week a kit will be provided with all the ingredients needed to participate.
