Dancing with Skylar – Virtual

This FREE summer program is offered to ages 6 to 10. Participants will have the opportunity to learn dance skills in jazz and hip-hop. The classes will include a fun warm-up, stretching and technique, and dance combinations to all the best music. Put on those dancing shoes and come join us! Needed for the class: Running shoes or bare feet (no socks) and an open space. Home Alone Course – Virtual

This FREE 2 hour virtual course will provide youth ages 10-14 with the skills and knowledge that will assist them in being confident about staying home alone. Through interactive games and activities participants will learn about how to stay safe in various situations and what to do in case of an emergency. Movement and Motion

Designed for community members age 55+, who are wishing to improve their balance and range of motion regardless of their current ability level. The program will be led by trained volunteers, who ensure the program is run in a safe manner. Classes can be done seated or standing. Nordic Pole Walking

Come out and join our trained Nordic Pole Walking Instructors as they take you on a 30-45 minute walk around the neighbourhood. Participants will be shown how to properly use the poles and will be taken through a series of warm-ups before starting the walk. Please bring your own poles if you have them, we have a few poles that can be borrowed for the duration of the program and will be sanitized before and after each class.
