A Free Six Week Workshop for Caregivers of adults with chronic conditions. Participating in this workshop will give you the skills to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you will become better able to be there for those you care for. We will be exploring topics like reducing stress, improving self-confidence, accessing community resources and managing emotions. An invitation to explore stillness through guided meditation. You will be guided in mindful movement, centering, conscious breathing, visualization, and loving kindness meditations. For beginners and anyone wanting to reduce stress and cultivate peace of mind. Wednesdays | May 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd | 5pm to 6pm | Via Zoom Debra is a 500 hour Kripalu certified yoga instructor with additional training in the Viniyoga tradition. She has practiced yoga for over twenty-five years. Debra has taught yoga to adults of varying abilities and brought daily yoga practices into her primary grade classrooms. She is a graduate of Nischala Joy Devi’s “Yoga of the Heart” program helping people living with heart disease, cancer and debilitating diseases.
