The Diabetes Expo will take place on Tuesday May 10th from 10:30am-1pm over Zoom. Register for our Virtual Expo!  Click here! We are planning to make this year’s event more interactive with breakout rooms so clients can send in their questions in advance to “Ask the Experts” (send questions to [email protected]) . We will have one of our wonderful volunteers doing a Movement Break and then we will have our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Jeremy Gilbert- Endocrinologist from Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre talking about “Diabetes Management: Why do we need so many medications?”.

Community Dietitian Talks

Join Adam our Community Dietitian for some free virtual interactive and engaging discussions. Summer salads: Join Adam to explore a variety of salad recipes that will set you up for the summer season. Whether it be for a picnic, an outdoor gathering, or a weeknight BBQ, these recipes will be the star of the meal! Mental Well-Being Educational Workshop Series

Join our Social Worker, Pam and Social Work Student, Em to learn about coping with stress and anxiety and to explore self-care strategies. Coping with Stress: This workshop will define and help you understand what stress is, how stress affects our bodies, and explore healthy coping strategies to manage our stress. Plants to Plates – In Person

Plants to Plates is a food education program for children which was developed by the Ecology Action Centre.
