Vaccination Clinic

Community Health Centres of Northumberland Vaccination Clinic Information

For information on the CHCN Vaccination Clinic please call 905-885-2626 ext. 406 (or dial 6 in the automated menu option provided) to access our confidential COVID-19 information voice mailbox where you can leave a message for our staff to contact you.

We encourage you to visit the HKPR website at www.hkpr.on.ca which lists eligibility criteria and availability of vaccine clinics including the mass vaccination centres and local pharmacies.

If you are successful in booking your second vaccination elsewhere please notify the CHCN and we will cancel the second appointment we have booked for you here.

If you received the AstraZeneca vaccine as your first dose, you will be able to get your second dose after 12 weeks. Your second dose can be AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Moderna, as Ontario has approved the mixing of vaccines if desired.  The CHCN will not be receiving Astra Zeneca for second doses.

OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

For individuals 18+ years old, you can use the Ontario Covid-19 vaccination appointment booking tool by visiting Ontario.ca/bookvaccine or call 1-888-999-6488 to book at a mass community clinic.

Please note that the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC) or any other mass clinic will drop off the provincial list if they no longer have available appointments for current vaccine supply. As vaccine supply comes in, more appointments are loaded into the provincial system and will appear as an option for booking your vaccine.

Please check regularly to see if appointment availability has been updated. For information on eligible groups and local pharmacies also booking COVID-19 vaccinations, please visit the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) District Health Unit website.

  • First Nations, Metis, and Inuit individuals are included in Phase 1 of the vaccination roll out plan and may book an appointment using the provincial portal online or by telephone at 1-888-999-6488.

For up to date information on eligibility please visit the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) District Health Unit website.

Ontario’s COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout Program

People who are more vulnerable or at higher risk of infection and serious illness will be prioritized in the rollout of the early phases of Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccine program.

To learn more about when vaccines will be available and who will be eligible to receive a vaccine, please visit covid-19.ontario.ca. More vaccines are now approved, but until they are widely available, we all have to continue to follow the public health rules and take everyday actions to help stop the spread of the virus.
