Temporary – Part-Time HR Specialist

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Corporate Services, the Human Resources (HR) Specialist plays a critical role in the Community Health Centres of Northumberland (CHCN), from coordination of the recruitment, screening, interviewing and onboarding processes for all staff, to developing and advising management on policies and employee relations. This multifaceted position also involves processing payroll and benefits, maintaining employee records, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

*Please note that this is a new and evolving role, with potential to be evaluated for a full-time position in the future.  Comfort and experience working in developing an emerging role is an asset.

Salary: $35-$39,000per annum

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Hours of Work: Days – Mon – Fri 9:00am-12pm

Start Date: March 23rd, 2026
