Screener – Part-Time Contract Position

The Community Health Centres of Northumberland is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services using a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers and has a priority focus on those with complex health and/or social challenges.

 Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative, highly motivated and energetic team player to join our progressive interdisciplinary team. The Screener is responsible for managing and directing all incoming traffic to the Centre and providing support to the Centre’s COVID-19 Screening and Assessment protocols. In doing so, the Screener will greet people entering the building, initiate and assist with COVID-19 screening assessments, ensure physical distancing and health hygiene precautions for COVID-19 are being followed, and direct traffic as needed. The Screener works collaboratively with the Primary Care and Community Health Care teams to complement the work being done to adhere to Public Health and Occupational Health and Safety standards and regulations.

Accountability: This position is accountable to the Primary Care Team lead.
