Rural Outreach Clinic Support – Colborne, ON
Immediate Opening to March 31, 2026 (with possible extension)
The Community Health Centres of Northumberland (CHCN) is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services using a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers.
In partnership with the Ontario Health Team – Northumberland, the CHCN is hiring support staff to work at the Rural Outreach Clinic located at 34 Victoria Street in Colborne. The Rural Outreach Clinic serves those residents of Northumberland County who are currently unattached to a primary care provider.
The hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m *services are available by appointment only.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the clinical staff working at the clinic
- Act as first point of contact for patients, register patients in the Electronic Medical Record System (EMR).

Experience
Qualifications:
- Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) diploma with full scope of practice and current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support and First Aid certification.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required.
- Experience in a front-line medical office providing secretarial/administrative supports.
- Knowledge of medical terminology would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and various software applications and Electronic Medical Records Systems, (training will be provided).
