PORT HOPE, ON – November 30th, 2020.

The Community Health Centres of Northumberland announces the successful conclusion of their search for a new Executive Director as they welcome Taryn Rennicks into the role. Ms. Rennicks has been an integral part of the leadership team at the CHCN, advancing from the Manager of Business Operations in 2014, to the Director of Corporate Services in 2016. Taryn’s tenure with the centre dates back to 2009 and she recently applied for the Executive Director position upon the departure of the former incumbent, Duff Sprague. The new Executive Director will refine and lead an expanded Strategic Plan focusing on client centred care, teamwork, fiscal accountability, operational excellence, innovation and community service provider partnerships.

“Ms. Rennicks’ deep understanding of the CHCN and the community it serves, as well as her demonstrated leadership and collaboration with the partner agencies who also serve this community, are an asset to the work and strategic direction now facing the future of our CHCN”

~ Board Chair Anna Cooper.

Taryn brings over fifteen years of experience working in healthcare with extensive work in governance and board relations developing strategic and operational plans, motivating staff and volunteers in coordinated efforts to execute these plans, and developing lasting and productive working relationships with all stakeholders properly positioning the CHCN as a true partner in community healthcare providers; most recently as the representative on the Ontario Health Team of Northumberland.
