SUMMARY:Plants to Plates - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:This virtual summer program is offered to ages 7 to 10. Plants to Plates is a food education program for children which was developed by the Ecology Action Centre. This program takes a “Plants to Plates” approach\, pairing kitchen skill building with garden activities and making connections between how food is grown and how to prepare nutritious\, tasty meals. Each week a kit will be provided with all the ingredients needed to participate. \n\nMondays July 5th to August 16th (no class August 2nd) | 11:00am to 12:30pm | Via Zoom\nCost: $5 per class\nTo sign up\, please email: workshops@porthopechc.ca or call 905-885-2626 ext 280
